The Horseman Lantern
This Lantern lights up and is somewhat of a snow globe but way cooler.
DO NOT SHAKE THIS LANTERN, Mechanical parts inside once turned on will move the bats around the liquid inside.
Measuring 10″ tall x 5″ wide or 16″ tall when the Metal hanger is erect.
It is a nice size!
It is not a lightweight object. Not flimsy and cheap. This will not flip over easily you can feel the weight and quality when you hold it.
This Lantern will come with a Plug in USB cord. It can also run on (3) AA Batteries. So, you have options when and where you display this Horseman Lantern.
This will become a focal piece to your decor for many years to come.
Inside this lantern the Horseman is surrounded by Small Black bats that move around him when the Lantern is turned on. When lit the bats give off a small hint of sparkle when in motion. The Horseman is Painted using all Black paint the only other colored feature of the sculpture is the Steeds Eyes which are painted a Vibrant Yellow giving off a glowing look, and the Jack O Lantern the Horseman holds in his hand painted a Halloween Orange with Black facial features. This piece was created after one of my very popular Horseman Paintings that I sell many prints of yearly. One of my top collected when visitor’s visit me at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in the Fall.
I wanted to create a Lantern that was Historically accurate to what was used during the time period when Mr. Washington Irving Created his Story the Legend of Sleepy Hollow in 1820. Giving an aged Pewter look to the vessel holding the Oval Elongated Water feature at center. There is a Wire handle fixed to the top of the lantern. You can hold the lantern by the wire but using caution I suggest when holding the lantern by the wire to hold the bottom as the lamp is of high quality in weight.
PLEASE DO NOT SHAKE THIS LANTERN, there are mechanical components inside (small fan) that blows up through the liquid inside moving the bats around. If you want to turn the lantern on and lift the piece upside down (1-2) times to help with the motion yes but please do NOT SHAKE like a Snow globe.
The Pewter colored lantern portion is made of hard PV molded plastic. It is not flimsy.

Horseman Will come Packed safely in heavy blow mold Styrofoam that surrounds the shape of the lantern inside a Black Premium Box.
